Did a big fat nothing for helloween...well i shouldn't say that cause i had a friend come over we watched a bad movie and then Cheaters. I find this show pretty amusing.
The day of halloween i dressed Makayla up as a pumpkin (i know such a typical costume) and brought her around to the neighbours i've grown up next to. I must say she was soo cute... i'll post pics later.
We found our dream house and now we just have to wait for our house to sell. Had an open house on the sun and now we play the waiting game. I find it strange having people browse through your house and it's even more strange when they are just being nosey and have no intention of buying. What a way to spend a boring sun afternoon.

i don't know why it's taking sooo long to sell our house but i'm getting very discouraged. I really want to move out of my parents house and start my life in a new one.
The Oblongs are out on DVD...i love that show.

I was sitting at my mom's (my current living arrangement) and figured i'd kill some boredom since the baby's quite.
I'll make my long story short...
July 10th was the birth of the baby which i named Makayla...she's so cute! I went in labour on the night of my birthday July 8...how lucky of me.
My husband, who i was married to for 5 months cheated on me a week after i got out of the hospital. I moved to my parents in the middle of nowhere. We decided to work out our current situation by him moving in with my parents and working in this area. I have to admit that things are alot better because of it and also since he isn't hanging out with his pervert friend anymore (who seems to be a bad influence on him). We are just in the process of selling our house which seems to be taking a long time and is becoming quite the burden. I'm not really thrilled living with my parents again, it makes me realize they are pretty crazy. But once the house sells we can start looking for something on our own.
It kinda sucks having to be this way again, but i have a car so i can travel to visit people once i get motivated to do so. I find that i've become really anti-social and am content just sitting at home entertaining Makayla. I'm sure that will all change and i'll be dying to get out and have fun again.
So if i haven't called some people i'm sorry but i'm in baby mode.

I went to a house party that was pretty fun, it's a little wierd not drinking when all your friends around you are. That's OK cause next year i'll make up for my lack of booze this year.

This weekend was slightly successful in terms of dresses.
I found a dress for Adams Christmas party which isn't the greatest but i really couldn't find anything that looked good on me that i liked. It's knee length with layers of chiffon, good for hiding the gut.
Didn't find anything that i could wear to the wedding :( I finally settled for a pattern at Walmart that my mom is going to make up for me. For some reason she wants me to be wearing a tent. We're going to combine 2 patterns and i think it'll turn out really nice. Now i just have to find material.

soo much has been going on i feel so overwhelmed.
To start, i'm having a shot gun wedding Feb 20 in Niagara Falls at one of those Vegas type thingy's. I'm not big into large weddings and this was the next best thing besides actually getting married in Vegas. I go to find my dress next weekend with my mom. I'm goin for a simple bias cut dress to the floor with a white fun fur shawl overtop held together with a large sparkly brooch.
The end of June i should be having a baby. It's totally not what i was expecting but shit happens. I'm not really sure how this happened since i was on the pill but i guess there were a few times i forgot to take it.
So spring will be my last time to work at Siren. It feels really wierd not working there or anywhere for that matter. I'm going to have to get my butt in gear and start sewing cause i really hate having to depend on Adam for all my spending needs.

So, i just got back from seeing Suicide Club and i have to admit, but i hated it. It was soo confusing and pointless that i felt that i should be given back my 2 hours and my $10. I also can't believe that Japan is really having a problem with group suicides because of this movie. The only highlight of the evening was getting to hang out with some friends and going for beer afterwards.

I went to Ikea the other day after visiting their website and seeing soo much i wanted to get. I'm going for the 60's mod look for my place and wanted to get cool black/white circle curtains. But when i get there everything is dark blue...why? Why not black? people like black, it goes with more. I did get some red/white curtains with squares on them...they're pretty cool. They also had a round bed, i've been dying to get one for years but it was $1200.00. I need to find some cool printed fabric so i can make my own curtains.

i decieded to take my boyfriend to see the comedian i was dying to see. With all the stupid service charges and seat tax the tix came to $130.00. I find this bit of a rip off. All i have to say is that he better be so funny i wet my pants.

I'm DJing again but this is gonna be my last time. I have a problem with saying No and since i really don't know how to DJ i think it would be wise. I don't mix or use headphones, i just put in one c.d and when the song is almost over i throw in another.
So if anyone wants to come out to the Vatikan tonight that would be pretty cool. It's the Absinthe night so it'll be goth and some current music but with a darker feel :)

Sat night went to Buddies and Bad Times and had a great night of drinking and dancing to Cheese. I want to go back in the next couple of weeks, but not be as drunk as Sat :)
Mon we went to Canada's Wonderland which was awsome...rode every coaster and ate funnel cake...mmmm! I didn't really like the Tomb Raider coaster, it was alittle strange and i didn't like that it was still moving while your getting on. Plus it's strange lying on your stomache going head first down the hills. We were there for 10 hrs and even that didn't seem long enough. There were soo many more rides we wanted to do but the line ups were crazy long and people were everywhere. Saw the Spongebob 3D movie/ride...i love simulator rides.

man oh man does this weather stink...i haven't been in the pool in weeks and when it is nice i'm working. I won't swim at night cause gross things fall in and i don't want to swim in leaves and spiders...ewww!
A bunch of us are going to Buddies tonight for some cheese music so if your in the mood you should come out.

Today's my last day of work for 2 weeks...it feels great, except that i'll have no money :( Tomorrow is the big move day and after that lots of painting and scraping wallpaper and removing wood panelling. I'm not sure why anyone would put up a fake plastic rock wall or mirror a wall with those wooden window pane grids! It's going to take forever just undoing all the ugliness.
